Ben May
Owner
Ben founded Alaska Solar over a decade ago. His work history spans 16 years in the construction field with 7 years in utility scale renewable energy projects that include wind farms, solar installations, micro-hydro installations, utility scale battery banks, and demand-supply micro-grid balancing. He has worked in every condition and setting from field camps in Antarctica, villages in Western Alaska to remote volcanic and river monitoring sites.

Chase Christie

Chase began working with solar through volunteer installation projects in Nicaragua. His experience in construction project management led him to design solar PV systems in the San Francisco Bay Area market in 2012. In 2013, he became a certified solar professional with the North American Board of Certified Energy Practitioners (NABCEP). In 2018, he acted as Program Director for Alaska’s first ‘Solarize’ campaign and has continued to lead those projects in iterations since.
